Engine or Transmission System Matching Error

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is set by the skid control ECU when the ECM is replaced with one that has different engine and transmission information than the information stored in the skid control ECU.

This DTC is also set when the VSC actuator assembly (skid control ECU) is replaced with one that has different engine and transmission information than the information stored in the ECM.

HINT:

If this DTC is output, clear the zero point calibration data and enter test mode BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM: TEST MODE PROCEDURE (2008 Sequoia) . The system returns to normal when the correct data is received from the ECM.

NOTICE:

When replacing the VSC actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM: CALIBRATION (2008 Sequoia) .

REPLACE ECM

(a) Replace the ECM for 2UZ-FE 2UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: ECM: REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia) or 3UR-FE 3UR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: ECM: REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia) .

RECONFIRM DTC

(a) Clear the DTC BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 Sequoia) .

(b) Check if the same DTC is output BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 Sequoia) .
